Jasmine Tea Biscotti Recipe

These crisp and buttery biscotti are flavored with jasmine tea and studded with crunchy sliced almonds. Ideal for dipping in a steaming cup of tea or coffee.

  • Cook Time: 40 minutes
  • Total Time: 1 hour

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  • Using parchment paper, line a baking sheet.
  • Cream together the butter and sugar in a large mixing bowl until light and fluffy.
  • Incorporate the eggs and vanilla extract.
  • Separately, combine the flour, baking powder, salt, and ground jasmine tea leaves in a separate bowl.
  • Stir the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  • Mix in the sliced almonds.
  • Divide the dough in half and shape each half into a 2-inch wide log on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Bake for 25 minutes, or until the tops are lightly golden brown and firm to the touch.
  • Remove from oven and set aside for 5 minutes to cool on the baking sheet.
  • Cut each log diagonally into 1/2-inch thick slices with a serrated knife.
  • Place the slices on a baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until lightly golden brown and crisp.
  • Remove from the oven and set aside to cool completely before serving.
