Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies Recipe

Ingredients

• 3 cups rolled oats (old-fashioned)
• 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, room temp
• 1/2 tsp salt
• 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 1 1/2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
• 1 teaspoon cinnamon
• 1/2 cup granulated sugar
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 1 cup brown sugar
• Two large eggs

Instructions

• Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
• Cream the butter and sugars together in a large mixing bowl until light and fluffy.

• Add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture gradually, mixing until just combined.
• Combine the oats and chocolate chips in a mixing bowl.
• Drop the dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper in rounded tablespoons.
• Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden brown.
• Allow to cool for 5 minutes on the baking sheet before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
