Smarties Chocolate Chip Cookies Recipe

These Smarties chocolate chip cookies are ideal for any occasion. They're soft and chewy, and filled with Smarties and chocolate chips.

Ingredients

• 1/2 cup unsalted butter, room temp
• 1 cup all-purpose flour
• 1/2 cup light brown sugar, packed
• 1 cup chopped smarties
• 1/2 tsp baking soda
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 1/2 cup granulated sugar
• 1/4 tsp salt
• 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

• Prep Time: 15 minutes
• Cook Time: 12 minutes
• Total Time: 27 minutes

Instructions

• Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (180 degrees Celsius).
• In a medium mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking soda and salt.
• Cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar in a large mixing bowl until light and fluffy.
• Mix in the egg and vanilla extract until thoroughly combined.
• Stir in the flour mixture gradually until just combined.
• Mix in the chopped Smarties and chocolate chips.
• Drop rounded spoonfuls of dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.
• Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the edges are golden.
• Allow the cookies to cool for 5 minutes on the baking sheet before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
