Homemade Baked Christmas Cookies Recipe

Ingredients
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, room temp
- 1/2 cup sprinkles
- 1/2 teaspoon salt

- Prep Time: 20 minutes
- Cook Time: 15 minutes
- Total Time: 35 minutes
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (180 degrees Celsius).
- In a medium mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Cream the butter and sugar together in a large mixing bowl until light and fluffy.
- Add the egg and vanilla extract to the butter mixture and combine well.
- Stir in the dry ingredients gradually until the dough comes together.
- Add the milk and sprinkles and mix well.
- Drop dough balls onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, 2 inches apart, using a cookie scoop or spoon.
- 12-15 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
- Allow the cookies to cool for 5 minutes on the baking sheet before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
