Shortbread Cookies with Peanuts Recipe
These buttery and crumbly shortbread cookies have a delicious peanut crunch. They are ideal for snacking or sharing as a sweet treat with family and friends.
Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/4 cup roasted peanuts, chopped
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup confectioners' sugar

- Cook Time: 20 minutes
- Total Time: 30 minutes
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C) and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cream the butter and confectioners' sugar together in a medium mixing bowl until light and fluffy.
- Mix in the flour and salt until just combined.
- Add the chopped peanuts and mix well.
- Form the dough into small balls and place them on the baking sheet that has been prepared.
- With a fork, flatten each ball and make a crisscross pattern on top.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown around the edges.
- Remove the cookies from the oven and cool for 5 minutes on the baking sheet before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
