- Mix in the molasses, egg, and vanilla extract until thoroughly combined.
- Stir the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until a dough forms.
- Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Preheat the oven to 12-15 minutes, or until the edges are lightly browned.
- Allow to cool for a few minutes on the baking sheet before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
- In a small mixing bowl, combine the powdered sugar and milk to make a smooth icing.
