Instructions

Cream the butter and granulated sugar together in a mixing bowl until light and fluffy.
Mix in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
Whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl.

Form the dough into a disk, wrap it in plastic wrap, and chill for at least 1 hour in the refrigerator.
