  • Cook Time: 40 minutes
  • Total Time: 1 hour

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  • In a medium mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  • In a separate large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs and vanilla extract until light and frothy.
  • Mix in the dry ingredients just until combined.
  • Fold in the chocolate chips and almonds.
  • Form the dough into two logs and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Bake for 25 minutes, then remove from oven and set aside for 10 minutes to cool.
  • Slice the logs diagonally into 1/2-inch thick slices with a serrated knife.
  • Bake for an additional 15 minutes with the biscotti slices cut-side up on the baking sheet.
  • Remove from the oven and set aside to cool before serving.
