Instructions
- Cream the butter and granulated sugar together in a large mixing bowl until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the eggs and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl.
- Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients gradually, mixing until just combined.
- Mix in the milk until the dough comes together.
- Make two equal parts of dough and shape each into a disc.
- Wrap the discs in plastic wrap and place them in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C) and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll out one disc of dough to a thickness of about 1/4 inch on a lightly floured surface.
