Peanut Butter Cookie Sandwich Recipe
These delicious peanut butter cookie sandwiches combine the classic flavours of peanut butter and chocolate. The rich and creamy chocolate filling pairs perfectly with the soft and chewy peanut butter cookies.
Ingredients
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 egg
- 12 chocolate sandwich cookies
Time Needed
- Prep Time: 20 minutes
- Cook Time: 12 minutes
- Total Time: 32 minutes
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees Celsius).
- Combine the peanut butter, sugar, and egg in a mixing bowl until well combined.
- Roll the dough into small 1 tablespoon-sized balls.
- Place the balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and flatten slightly with a fork.
- Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and cool for a few minutes on the baking sheet before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Place a chocolate sandwich cookie on the bottom of one cookie and top with a spoonful of peanut butter to make the sandwich cookies.
- To make a sandwich, place another cookie on top.
- Rep with the rest of the cookies and peanut butter.
- Serve and have fun.
