Ingredients

• 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
• 1 cup light brown sugar, packed
• Two large eggs
• 1 cup granulated sugar
• 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
• 3 cups all-purpose flour
• 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, room temp
• 1/2 tsp salt
• 1 teaspoon baking soda

• Prep Time: 20 minutes
• Cook Time: 12 minutes
• Total Time: 32 minutes

Instructions

• Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit (190 degrees Celsius).
• Use parchment paper to line baking sheets.
• In a large mixing bowl, cream the butter and sugars together until light and fluffy, about 2 minutes.
• Mix in the eggs and vanilla extract until well combined.
• In a medium mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking soda and salt.
• Add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture gradually, mixing until just combined.

• Place spoonfuls of the dough on the prepared baking sheets, about 2 inches apart.
• 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown.
• Allow the cookies to cool for 5 minutes on the baking sheets before transferring them to wire racks to cool completely.
