Overstuffed Chocolate Chip Cookies Recipe
These overstuffed chocolate chip cookies are the ultimate sweet tooth treat. These cookies are soft, chewy, and flavorful, with chunks of semisweet chocolate and chopped mini Reese's Peanut Butter Cups.
Ingredients
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 package mini Reese's peanut butter cups, unwrapped and chopped
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- Two large eggs
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
Time Needed
- Prep Time: 20 minutes
- Cook Time: 15 minutes
- Total Time: 35 minutes
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- Cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar in a large mixing bowl until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the eggs and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Separately, whisk together the flour, baking soda and salt.
- Mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined.
- Combine the chocolate chips and chopped Reese's Peanut Butter Cups in a mixing bowl.
- Drop dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper with a cookie scoop or spoon.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown around the edges.
- Allow cookies to cool for 5 minutes on the baking sheet before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
