These chocolate chip cookies are elevated by dipping them in melted chocolate.

In a medium mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
Cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar in a large mixing bowl until light and fluffy.
Incorporate the egg and vanilla extract.
Mix in the flour mixture gradually until just combined.
Combine the semisweet and milk chocolate chips in a mixing bowl.
Scoop the dough into 1-inch balls and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
Place the cookies on a wire rack to cool completely.
Melt the remaining chocolate chips and vegetable oil in a small bowl in the microwave or over a double boiler.
Dip half of each cookie into the melted chocolate, allowing excess to drip off.
