Ingredients

• 1/4 teaspoon salt
• 1/2 cup brown sugar
• 1/2 cup white sugar
• 1 egg
• 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
• 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
• 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
• 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
• 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Time Needed

• Prep Time: 15 minutes
• Cook Time: 10 minutes
• Total Time: 25 minutes

Instructions

• Preheat the oven to 350°F.
• (175 degrees C).
• Cream the butter, white sugar, and brown sugar together in a large mixing bowl until smooth.
• Mix in the egg and vanilla extract.
• Whisk together the flour, cinnamon, baking soda and salt in a separate bowl.
• Mix the dry ingredients into the butter mixture until just combined.
• Add the chocolate chips and mix well.
• Drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets.
• In a preheated oven, bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until golden.
• Cool down on wire racks.
