Cinnamon Chocolate Chip Cookies are a delicious twist on the traditional chocolate chip cookie recipe. Cinnamon gives them a warm and cosy flavour that is ideal for chilly days. They're simple to make and even simpler to enjoy.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 egg
Time Needed
- Prep Time: 15 minutes
- Cook Time: 10 minutes
- Total Time: 25 minutes
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- (175 degrees C).
- Cream the butter, white sugar, and brown sugar together in a large mixing bowl until smooth.
- Mix in the egg and vanilla extract.
- Whisk together the flour, cinnamon, baking soda and salt in a separate bowl.
- Mix the dry ingredients into the butter mixture until just combined.
- Add the chocolate chips and mix well.
- Drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets.
- In a preheated oven, bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until golden.
- Cool down on wire racks.
