These Salted Brown Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies are a tasty twist on the traditional chocolate chip cookie. Brown butter adds a rich, nutty flavor, and a sprinkle of flaky sea salt elevates them to the next level.

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (180 degrees Celsius).
- Use parchment paper to line baking sheets.
- In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter.
- Cook, swirling occasionally, for 5-7 minutes, or until the butter turns golden brown and smells nutty.
- Remove from the heat and set aside for 5 minutes to cool.
- Combine the cooled brown butter and sugars in a large mixing bowl.
- Blend in the egg, egg yolk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt in a separate bowl.
- Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients gradually, mixing until just combined.
- Add the chocolate chips and mix well.
- Scoop the dough into 2 tablespoon-sized balls and place them on the prepared baking sheets.
- Sprinkle a pinch of flaky sea salt on top of each ball.
- 12-14 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the centres are set, bake.
- Allow to cool for 5 minutes on the baking sheets before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
