- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, room temp
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
- In a medium mixing bowl, combine the flour and powdered sugar.
- Add the butter and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients, and cut the butter into the flour mixture with a fork or pastry cutter until it resembles coarse sand.
- Form a dough with your hands by pressing the mixture together.
- Place the dough in 1-inch balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown around the edges.
- Remove the cookies from the oven and cool for 5 minutes on the baking sheet before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
