Crispy Chocolate Chip Cookies Recipe
This classic treat of crispy chocolate chip cookies will satisfy any sweet tooth. They go great with a cold glass of milk or as an afternoon snack.
Ingredients
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup white granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
Time Needed
- Prep Time: 15 minutes
- Cook Time: 10 minutes
- Total Time: 25 minutes
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- Cream together the butter and both sugars in a large mixing bowl until light and fluffy.
- Incorporate the egg and vanilla extract.
- Separately, combine the flour, baking soda and salt.
- Mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined.
- Incorporate the chocolate chips.
- Place dough on a baking sheet, about 2 inches apart.
- 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
- Allow to cool for 5 minutes on the baking sheet before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
