Shortbread Biscuits Recipe

  • Prep Time: 10 minutes
  • Cook Time: 20 minutes
  • Total Time: 30 minutes

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit).
  • Cream the butter and sugar together in a large mixing bowl until light and fluffy.
  • Mix in the flour and cornflour until a smooth dough forms.
  • Roll out the dough to a thickness of about 1cm (1/2 inch) on a lightly floured surface.
  • Prick lightly with a fork after cutting into rounds or fingers.
  • Chill for 20 minutes on a baking sheet.
  • Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the top is pale golden brown.
  • Allow to cool on a wire rack before serving.
