Ingredients

• 1 cup brown sugar
• 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
• 3 cups all-purpose flour
• 2 eggs
• 1 cup white sugar
• 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
• 2/3 cup cocoa powder
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 1 cup unsalted butter

Time Needed

• Prep Time: 20 minutes
• Cook Time: 10 minutes
• Total Time: 30 minutes

Instructions

• Preheat the oven to 350° F.
• (175 degrees C).
• Cream the butter, white sugar, and brown sugar together in a large mixing bowl until smooth.
• Beat in the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract.
• Mix the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda and salt into the creamed mixture gradually.
• Incorporate the chocolate chips.
• Using a rounded tablespoon, drop onto ungreased baking sheets.
• Bake for 8 to 10 minutes, or until set, in a preheated oven.
• Allow cookies to cool for 5 minutes on the baking sheet before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
