Ingredients

• 2 cups all-purpose flour
• 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
• 1/2 cup unsalted butter
• 1/2 cup granulated sugar
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 1/2 cup honey
• 1/2 tsp salt
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Time Needed

• Prep Time: 15 minutes
• Cook Time: 12 minutes
• Total Time: 27 minutes

Instructions

• Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
• Cream together the butter, honey, and sugar in a large mixing bowl until light and fluffy.
• Incorporate the egg and vanilla extract.
• Whisk together the flour, baking soda and salt in a separate mixing bowl.
• Mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined.
• Incorporate the chocolate chips.
• Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.
• 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
• Remove from the oven and cool for 5 minutes on the baking sheet before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
