M&M Chocolate Chip Cookies Recipe
These soft and chewy MandM Chocolate Chip Cookies have a fun pop of colour from the M&Ms. They're ideal for any occasion and are sure to impress.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup m&ms
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
Time Needed
- Prep Time: 20 minutes
- Cook Time: 10 minutes
- Total Time: 30 minutes
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C) and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar in a large mixing bowl until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Whisk together the flour, baking soda and salt in a separate bowl.
- Mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until they are just combined.
- Fold in the M&Ms and chocolate chips.
- Drop rounded dough balls onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart, with a cookie scoop or spoon.
- Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the edges are golden.
- Allow the cookies to cool for 5 minutes on the baking sheet before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
