Mix and Match Chocolate Chip Cookies Recipe
These Mix and Match Chocolate Chip Cookies are ideal for any celebration. Make your own mix-ins for a truly unique and delicious cookie.
Ingredients
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- Two large eggs
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 1/2 cup add-ins (chocolate chips, chopped nuts, dried fruit, etc)
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Time Needed
- Prep Time: 20 minutes
- Cook Time: 10 minutes
- Total Time: 30 minutes
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar in a large mixing bowl until light and fluffy.
- Mix in the eggs and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Whisk together the flour, baking soda and salt in a separate bowl.
- Stir the dry ingredients into the butter mixture gradually until just combined.
- Fold in your preferred mix-ins.
- Drop dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet, about 2 inches apart, with a cookie scoop or spoon.
- 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly browned.
- Remove from oven and cool for 5 minutes on the baking sheet before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
