Milk Chocolate Chip Cookies Recipe
These milk chocolate chip cookies are soft, chewy and chock-full of chocolate flavour. It's ideal for a sweet treat or snack at any time of day.
Ingredients
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/4 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1/2 cup white granulated sugar
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1 cup milk chocolate chips
Time Needed
- Prep Time: 15 minutes
- Cook Time: 10 minutes
- Total Time: 25 minutes
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C) and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a medium mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking soda and salt.
- Cream together the butter, white sugar, and brown sugar in a large mixing bowl until light and fluffy.
- Incorporate the egg and vanilla extract.
- Mix in the dry ingredients gradually until just combined.
- Mix in the milk chocolate chips.
- Scoop the dough onto the prepared baking sheet, about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the edges are golden.
- Allow to cool for 5 minutes on the baking sheet before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
